Get to Know Dr. Long Nguyen
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin (UTA) in 1998, Dr. Nguyen attended dental school in Pennsylvania. There, he enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2005. He then completed post-doctoral studies as part of a preceptorship in dental implantology at the UT Health School of Dentistry, as well as training at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Gerety Comprehensive Orthodontic training, and FASTBRACES® orthodontic training with Dr. Anthony D. Viazis, the inventor.
Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the Spear Education Faculty Club and believes these opportunities to hone and refine his skills allow him to provide the best possible care to his patients.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When he is not in the office, you’ll find Dr. Nguyen with his wife, Nikki, a dentist, and their son, Alexander. They also have a dog, Pluto, and enjoy traveling and trying all types of food. He also spends his time fishing, grilling, and spending time with his family.
