Your First Visit
iSmile Dental is here to make your first visit a positive one. From the moment you call to schedule an appointment, we’ll ensure the proposed date and time align with your schedule. We’ll also collect your insurance information so we can begin identifying ways to maximize your benefits and explain how you can complete your patient paperwork before you arrive. You will receive a reminder text one week before your appointment so that you are prepared.
Once you arrive at our office, we will greet you by name, answer any questions, and then escort you to a treatment room. A member of our team will take the necessary X-rays, and one of our hygienists will explain the teeth cleaning process step by step. If we find anything, we will explain what we see before introducing the dentist when they arrive. At this time, we will get to know you better and understand your smile goals before recommending treatment options. If necessary, we may be able to provide same-day care.
Before you leave, we will ask if you would like to speak to a financial advisor to discuss the details of your plan and its costs. If you plan to use your dental insurance, we’ll make sure you understand your benefits and any out-of-pocket expenses you might incur. We’ll also explain additional financial options, if needed, and answer any questions you have about your care, post-treatment instructions, or the associated cost.
