Get to Know Dr. Kelly Salazar
As a child who grew up in a low-income family, Dr. Salazar did not have access to regular dental care. It wasn’t until she was older that she experienced the life-changing benefits of a healthier, more confident smile. As a result, she discovered how transformative dentistry can be and decided to pursue a career that would allow her to help others achieve the same results she did.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Deciding to enroll in the Texas A&M School of Dentistry, she earned her dental degree before taking countless hours of continuing education courses focused on veneers, oral surgery, endodontics, composite restorations, and dental pathology. Her desire to remain at the forefront of the field spurs her to remain active as a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.
She is also a volunteer at Mission Arlington and M.C. Cooper Dental Clinic.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Salazar is married and has one son. In her free time, she enjoys photography, trying new foods, and dancing. She is fluent in English and Spanish and offers patients the opportunity to choose how they would like to converse during their appointments.
